BEST RESTAURANTS IBIZA: BY BOAT
One of the best parts of chartering a boat in Ibiza is stopping for a long lunch by the sea. Some restaurants will collect you directly from your yacht by tender; others are best visited from a boat carrying its own tender.
We arrange around 130 charters a year in Ibiza and Formentera, so these aren’t simply restaurants with a sea view. This is our guide to the places that genuinely work as part of a day on the water — from Cala Jondal and Es Torrent to Cala Bassa and the quieter coves around the island.
We’ve included how to get ashore, what each restaurant is best for and the practical details you need when planning your charter.
Lux tip: In July and August, book well in advance. The most popular lunch spots can fill up quickly, particularly for the prime afternoon sittings.

GETTING TO IBIZA RESTAURANTS BY BOAT
Not every waterfront restaurant works in the same way when you arrive by yacht.
Some restaurants operate their own tender service and will collect guests from boats anchored offshore. Others require your charter boat to carry a tender so the crew can take you ashore. In some smaller coves you simply anchor outside the swimming area and tender to the beach.
Access always depends on the boat, anchoring conditions and the weather on the day. Anchoring also needs to respect Ibiza’s protected Posidonia seagrass areas.
If lunch is an important part of your charter, tell us where you would like to eat when you book. We can advise whether the restaurant works with your chosen boat and route and help coordinate the day’s plans with the captain.
