Es Caló, is technically not a beach, but a cove that is found near a little fishing village wedged in a corner of Formentera where the long, flat stretch of Playa Levante meets the steep cliffs that rise abruptly up to the town La Mola. This is without a doubt the place to go if you are seeking out the most beautiful views on the Island.  Near the tiny village of San Agustí, you will find the Es Caló restaurant , where you can enjoy spectacular views spanning the entire eastern shore of the Island of Formentera. Because the beach is east-oriented, on days in which the wind blows from the south-west,  the sea in this area perfectly still, however be warned that on days when strong wind blow from the north the ears is transformed, making it dangerous for swimmers.
