There really isn’t a more fabulous way to spend easter Sunday

Setting off from Marina Botafoch, aboard the Hallmark, heading to Es Palmador, for a picnic and Easter egg hunt….with friends and family on board, there were many options for relaxing. Choices included the cushioned front deck (which my 4 year old daughter chose for the uninterrupted views), the chill out area up on the flybridge behind Captain Len; the rear deck dining area complete with table and chairs… or the comfortable inner sanctum of the sofa clad open-lounge with access to one of the two cabins below, perfect for a nap, for kids like Max, on a schedule.

This classic 65ft classic Motor Cruiser commands its place on the water, ambling majestically along, allowing us to take a moment to savour the scenery and take in the glorious views as we passed Dalt Vila on our right, with Formentera straight ahead. Our skippered Zodiac darted off to our left with 6 of our more adventurous guests aboard…  as the capacity on Hallmark when she’s moving is limited to 12, but our party was 18.

Pulling into Es Palmador, the nature reserve and island next to Formentera, we were greeted by a warm sea breeze and the crystal clear turquoise water the island is renowned for. The Sports Zodiac we took, taxied everyone to the beach for an indulgent picnic of fresh salmon and salads, washed down with a chilled rose…

What an amazing way to spend Easter Sunday. Our thanks to Len and Mandy and the Hallmark.
